夜半收拾行李，隨機播放到這首，聽見了一絲禪味。

所有混亂的，和持續改變的狀態都是過程。而正因為是過程，所以你還必須去經歷、端看這過程要持續多久而已。

當你正經歷這過程時，其中的某些橋段會另人感到殘忍。 但是當你過了那個階段再回頭看你身邊有誰是正經歷那過程，此時的你又顯得冷酷。

也許是自私。也許是你自顧不暇。


那麼人究竟要走到哪一步，才能回到最初的平靜？而不總是被執著之心牽著鼻子走。

I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One - Green Arrow

聽了不下百來次的 < I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One > （Yo La Tengo, 1997），聽久了你會知道為什麼從第六首 Shadows 到第十首 Green Arrow 是安排好在整張16首歌之中的一個主要定調旋律。

聽久了你會知道第6、7首是起，第8首是承、第9首稍微重的 Little Honda 是轉，到第10首 Green Arrow 是合。他們安排6 7 8 9首在前，其實就是要鋪第10首 Green Arrow 的梗。

大概半年左右你又會重新拿出 < I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One >，將印著俏皮愛心壓紋圖案的CD放入汽車音響。在聽了開場序曲 Return to Hot Chicken 之後，你直接將曲目跳到第6首 Shadows，直至第10首 Green Arrow。

在不停重放聽了好幾天之後，你又將印著俏皮愛心壓紋圖案的CD放入CD片盒。下次再聽可能又是一年之後。

一張專輯是一個完整的概念而不可分割。 我認為 I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One 這張專輯的精髓是從第6首 Shaows 到像是夜晚獨自開著車，彷彿空蕩的公路上只有你ㄧ人，對面車道的車輛不息、連綿不斷的路燈像是永無止盡那般重複再重複的第10首 Green Arrow 。

這5首是整張專輯的核心，當然前面還有 YO LA TENGO 歡愉、狂躁式的開場，以及每張專輯皆有的後搖史詩長篇 : Spec Bebop。

Neil Young，狂飆的歲月

Neil Young，充滿了矛盾與對立的民謠、搖滾歌手。

他可以很狂噪、吶喊式的重搖滾，也可以架上口琴，拿起不插電的木吉他當一個吟遊詩人。Neil Young影響了60年代末至今不知凡幾的搖滾團體，也催生了70年代龐克搖滾的浪潮。

1970年，Neil Young和他的民謠樂團CSNY發表了一首Ohio，抗議尼克森政府在俄亥俄州的血腥鎮壓行動。點著白蠟燭，為四位喪生的學生默哀，現場彷彿還聽的到隱約的哭泣聲（1989年天安門事件爆發時，老楊也唱這首歌給"擋在坦克車前的小男孩"與中國政府）。1971年的專輯《Harvest》是Neil Young生平最賣的一張，其中的Heart of Gold更是讓他走到了另一個階段。

##CONTINUE##之後的Neil Young在經歷好友接連死亡的打擊，有一段時期的音樂幾乎都是呈現他內心的黑暗面，但也做了很多跨風格的嘗試。1979年的專輯《Rust Never Sleeps》是他十幾年搖滾生涯以及整個搖滾樂界到那時的一個總結，My,My,Hey,Hey、Hey,Hey,My,My，搖滾精神不死。

Neil Young一直都處在一個主流的位置，他不會因為年紀日漸大了而跑去懷舊老歌的場子。直到2006年，還出了一張《Living With War》來痛罵布希政權，這張專輯的歌詞充滿了憤怒與哀傷，大聲吶喊著Let's Impeach The President（彈劾總統），還跟他的老戰友CSNY在夏天舉辦了巡迴演唱Freedom of speech tour。看來，Neil Young還是會繼續用他的吉他影響這個世代。

Politik、The Scientist

上禮拜搶先看了Glastonbury(搖滾世代)，也許是因為年代和以前發生的事，還是COLDPLAY、還是Chris Martin比較能觸動我心。

獻上電影片段的Politik和自己滿喜歡的The Scientist。The Scientist同時也是另一部電影Wicker Park(第三者)的主題曲，還記得Josh Hartnett和Diane Kruger歷經波折後終於在機場重逢，當音樂ㄧ響起，眼淚立刻撲簌簌地流下。

Imagine - Jack Johnson

一首不朽的經典歌曲不會因為作者的逝去而隨之黯淡，今天又在海邊的卡夫卡聽到imagine，驚喜的是Jack Johnson的版本。遙想當初Lennon在創作時，一定接近了那個更高意識的頻率，藉由他之手而創造出來，而不受時間、地域的限制，感動了無數的人。

Bob Dylan，搖滾記

All I can do is be me. Whoever it is.

昨天參加了光點由馬世芳主講的經典搖滾音樂記事，主題是搖滾詩人Bob Dylan，會來參加或多或少受到馬世芳《地下鄉愁藍調》ㄧ書的影響，書裡對Dylan著墨甚深，讓我想更進一步的了解這號傳奇人物。畢竟出生在80年代的我這一代台灣青年，成長階段中並沒有機會能接觸他的音樂。

Bob Dylan並不是以好嗓音著稱的，反而是他運用他粗啞的嗓子建立他獨有的風格。他崛起的關鍵是與民謠抗議歌手Joan Baez於1963.8月在馬丁路德.金恩博士演講（I have a dream）現場合唱，隨著媒體一再的播放，Dylan從此之後就被視為民權運動與反戰運動的代表人物。在專輯《The Times They Are a-Changin'》可看到他民謠時期粗布襯衫加上牛仔褲的經典形象，Blowin in the wind是他民謠時期的代表歌曲，藉由向世界天真的提問反映年輕ㄧ代對社會的迷惘。

事隔才一年的1965，Dylan不甘只做群眾期待的抗議歌手，而嘗試各種新東西，歌詞越來越"超迷幻"和艱澀難懂。這年的新專輯《Bring it all back home》封面跟過去的Dylan成強烈對比，像衣著華麗的紈絝 。subterranean homesick blues（地下鄉愁藍調）這首歌，也是史上第一支MV，很酷的一鏡到底拍攝手法影響後進甚深。《Highway 61 Revisited》的Dylan徹底跟過去的自己一刀兩斷，擁抱搖滾。以"嘔吐"方式的意識流寫作寫出的Like a Rolling Stone ，被滾石雜誌譽為史上最偉大歌曲，也是 Dylan 這ㄧ生的最佳代表作。

1966的世界巡演，Dylan 跟他的搖滾樂團公然的用搖滾樂向全世界挑釁，他以嘶吼似地搖滾回應噓他、宣稱他背叛民謠的群眾，引發的效應就是場場都瀕臨暴動。最著名的是在曼徹斯特那一場了，藉由各種藥物、酒精的作用下，Dylan在一點一滴燃燒他的生命蠟燭。直到一場車禍結束打斷了這一切，他也得以保全他即將乾枯的生命。直到現在，Dylan仍然在各地演出，活力依舊。

一個歌手能有這麼大的影響力，我想一定是他引起了一大群人的共鳴，尤其是美國戰後嬰兒潮世代急需要藉著音樂來解放靈魂。從民謠到搖滾，也許是 Dylan 唱出了正蠢蠢欲動的叛逆靈魂。不過他本人在他的自傳 《CHRONICLES》（台灣翻為搖滾記）裡回憶，他完全沒想過要當甚麼抗議歌手、叛逆王子，他只是做他自己，音樂只是表現自己的方式。
